The recently opened Se Spa in San Diego, designed by Designstudio Ltd. has cleverly used green tea cups as a warm welcome behind the reception desk to its Asian inspired spa. Goes to show you that you can use out of the ordinary materials to create pattern and texture in an interesting way.

Although Im not much of a fan of the placement of the cup on the wall, the idea and concept is brilliant. What really pulls it off its the fact that each cup is unique onto itself. Looks as though they were not made from a mold. Nice find!!
the idea is okay, the close up shot is interesting, but the overall result looked like some diseased wall.. :P looked a bit annoying to me. Makes me want to clean it up. :P just my 2 cents. :)
