As the hotel officially opens, a few more photos of the public spaces have become available on the Andaz website. The public spaces are similar in the simple and contemporary styling as the guestrooms. (Although I think overall the guestrooms are a little bit more innovative). Geometrics mix with organic forms, and woods and stone are used throughout.
My only criticism (it’s allowed right?) is that in the above photo, the two silver chairs seem a little small and out of scale compared to the adjacent sofa and amongst the sea of small accent tables![]()

whenever we use clean and minimal language, whenever we need rich texture to fill in the space...beatiful and streamline space is my cup of tea..thanks
I dont think the photos do it justice. I really like it. By the way I think the photography is destorting the scale. The textures are wonderful.
Love the rich fabrics, and the wood textured walls...it's a beaut.
hi dale, just commenting on the comments that you made and suggestions, i agree with you on the size of those chairs. funny too because i like the metallic element the fabric adds but because if it, your eyes really are drawn to them and they are forced to become noticed but in a negative way, i'm not even sure that those are the style chair i would have placed there either. not sure yet what i would have used but the whole size/shape thing is off for some reason. i need to go back and look at the photo but perhaps a more fluid, organic-y shape, and larger? hmmm...but beautiful materials used in these spaces for sure :)
