Marilyn Minter is an artist name that is getting thrown around a lot. I again was reminded of this risque artist while watching an episode of Million Dollar Decorators this evening.
Green Pink Caviar is a recent exhibit from Marilyn. Inspiration statement below. I think these would make great conversational pieces of art in a chic restaurant or lobby.
"I was shooting stills of models with long tongues swirling and sucking bakery products from under a pane of glass. I wanted to make enamel paintings along the idea of painting with my tongue. My makeup artist shot some short videos just to see how it would look. Green Pink Caviar seems to have a life of its own."
