The latest buzz restaurant in Vancouver these days is definitely Hawksworth Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown at the soon to be re-opened Georgia Hotel. Designed by Munge Leung out of Toronto, the space definitely kicks up the glamour factor in Vancouver. A simple and neutral palette with reflective surfaces and classical textures allows for the architectural forms to shine and create a sophisticated dining experience.

very glam indeed! wow, those dining areas are to die for. i'd feel like the queen of the world sipping wine under those glitzy chandeliers. thanks for sharing! you have a relaxing weekend too ;)
well, that's just stunning...remeinds me of Kelly Hoppen's work...have you been yet?
Best,
Michelle
I had lunch at Hawksworth a few days ago and even if the decoration is well done nobody thought about putting felts under the chairs at the bar area, so the wood floor is already badly scratched and what those rugs are doing under each table? Chairs are not moving well and people are tripping on the carpet. Little touches but so important in such an upscale restaurant.
I haven't been in myself yet. Waiting for a rep to take me for lunch :)
Good points Albarosa!
