Vancouver doesn’t have a lot of older, historic buildings relative to the amount of all glass skyscrapers. So it’s rare and delightful to find a piece of Vancouver’s history, The Georgia Hotel built originally in 1927, has been lovingly restored and re-designed by Toronto firm Munge Leung.
The lobby is rich with wood paneling and decorative details of the period. Furnishings more suitable to today’s lifestyle are a modern take on the classics.

WOW, WOW, Wow. Those are some amazing spaces. I love the woodwork the rooms look as though they smell of rich mahogony.
